Hello from the studio
Nyangi Studio USA is a tiny, husband-and-wife studio with an enormous soft spot for black cats. We make apparel, totes, pins, and curios for the people who love them — and a little technology for cats on the side.
Our story
Like a lot of good things, Nyangi Studio USA began at home. We fell for the black cats in our lives — the most misunderstood and longest-waiting cats in any shelter — and wanted to make things that celebrate them. So Winnie started designing apparel, tote bags, and enamel pins for fellow black-cat people, made in small batches with a lot of love.
What began as a passion project is now a real little shop, sold at makers' markets and online, one black cat at a time.

Black cats are adopted last and wait longest for a home. Everything we make is a small act of celebration for them — and we put our money where our hearts are. We partner with rescues working to change those odds, including Black Cat Holistic Rescue, a Los Angeles no-kill rescue devoted entirely to black cats.
A limited Nyangi × BCH collection is in the works, with 100% of net proceeds going straight to the rescue.
