We do one thing, and we do it with love: bags for cat people. Roomy totes for the everyday haul, wallets and card pouches for your pocket, and little accessory bags for everything in between — designed or handpicked by Winnie, produced in small runs, always with a soft spot for the black ones.

Our story

Started by two black cats and the people who love them.

Our two black cats, Vina and Ricky, are the reason Nyangi exists — so black cats will always be our heart, and our designs will always lean a little inky. "Nyangi" — 냥이 — is Korean for kitty, and today our bags are for cats of every color and the people a little obsessed with them. Nyangi Studio USA turns that affection into totes, wallets, and pouches you'll actually reach for.

A husband-and-wife studio

Our designs start at our kitchen table — drawn by Winnie, produced in runs of about 20. The few pieces she doesn't draw, she handpicks herself — and we're working toward drawing all of it. Either way they're packed and shipped by the two of us, with plenty of supervision from Vina and Ricky.
